Short IEPE Microphone

The IEPE microphone MI15 is a free-field microphone with integrated electronics that is often used in scientific research.

To ensure accuracy, the microphone is supplied with tight tolerances of ±1.5 dB and has a transmission factor of 50 mV/Pa.

An IEPE constant current source is used as standard, which is usually set to 4 mA.

Coaxial cables are used as feed lines and the standard microphone configuration includes BNC connectors, which are also optionally available as TNC variants.
