Class 1 WS2F – IEC 61094-4
This presentation shows the flexibility of our iSV1611 USB measurement microphone. By selecting different microphone capsules we can use it for infrasound or ultrasound applications.
The standard frequency bandwidth is 4 Hz to 20 kHz.
With the MK 222 E infrasound microphone capsule, measurements from 1 Hz are possible.
With the 1/2″ to 1/4″ adapter and the MK 301 E capsule, measurements from 5 Hz to 80 kHz are possible.
Using the MK 342 E capsule with a sensitivity of 0.25 mV/Pa, the iSV1611-HSPL-342 can measure high sound pressure levels up to 184 dB.
USB measurement microphone model iSV1611 is a digital microphone with USB interface, consisting of pre-polarized ½” condenser microphone capsule, preamplifier, 2 channel (Stereo) ADC and USB interface, which can be used with apps on smartphone, tablet or PC.
PC, smartphone, or tablet receive the digitized 2 channel signal data via USB cable connected to iSV1611.
Dual channel operation allows simultaneous measuring.

Sound Measurement Software Download
I would like to take this opportunity to provide a brief introduction to the ARTA software, which includes Plug.n.DAQ Lite MMS 214 Low Noise Microphone and Microphone Calibrator.
In this demonstration, I will be showing the calibration of the measurement chain.
Since December 2024, the globally recognised FFT analyser and measurement microphone software ARTA has been released by the manufacturer as freeware.
We would like to thank the manufacturer for this generous support.
With calibrated microphone, ARTA can be used as a virtual IEC class 1 SPL meter with a real time modes:
Integrating SPL meter with 24 hours data logging,
Octave SPL meter with noise rating (NR, NC, PNC, RC,NCB),
Third octave SPL meter with report of loudness in sones and phones.
