The following specifications are based on a typical response when using the H3dX with a standard 48 V phantom power supply (48 V with 6.8 kOhm pull-up resistors)
The H3dX is terminated with a 3-pin XLR connector. The wiring is standard: pin 1 is ground, pin 2 is hot and pin 3 is unused2.
This configuration should be compatible with any standard XLR microphone jack found in recorders, mixing consoles, professional video cameras and PA systems.
Phantom power is required and must be switched on in your device. Any standard phantom power voltage will work. Do not exceed +48 V when powering the H3dX.
If your recorder or microphone preamp offers phantom power options, we recommend using the lowest voltage available to achieve the lowest noise and power consumption.
